No, we have a fully equipped, state of the art van with a mini salon custom built in it. Our mobile salon has everything a “brick and mortar” salon would have. Our electric table lifts up to 350 pounds, so size is never an issue. Our hydro- bathing system helps get way down under the fur to really get our clients pet’s skin nice and clean. We even have forced air heat and electronic Air Conditioning so that your pets is always comfortable.
Do you use my water or electricity?
No, our van is entirely self-contained.
We have a built in inverter system that we charge overnight that lasts us all
day. And we use a Cummin’s powered generator for our dryers and in the summer
for the a/c.
Do you have warm water?
Yes, our modern grooming van comes fully equipped and has a
large capacity hot water tank that provides warm water for many baths. We carry
50 gallons of fresh water. We do not
reuse water and our dirty water goes into a separate tank that we take with us.
Can
I see inside your van?
Absolutely, for now you can view images on our website, Facebook
page & Instagram where we post daily. And of course feel free to take a
tour of our van when we arrive at your home. We take pride in the cleanliness of
our equipment and tools which we disinfect daily.
What
kind of payment to you accept?
We accept Cash, Check, debit and credit cards, and Venmo.
My
schedule is very busy do I have to be present? Can I just leave you the key?
For your
first introduction visit we would like for a pet parent to be present. We will
be discussing styling and health concerns, as well as just getting to know your
pet. If you are pleased with our service, and comfortable with making
arrangements, we can set up regular-ongoing appointments where your presence is
not required.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
We are
in the business of making our clients lives more convenient so we are always
happy to move an appointment around. We know life happens and things come up.
In the unlikely event that you do not cancel your appointment in 24 hours or
nobody is home or there is no available parking when we arrive and we are
unable to service your pet, a minimal $30 fee will be charged just to cover our
time allotted for you.
How much does mobile grooming cost?
The cost depends on several
factors: the breed, dogs coat and condition, age, temperament and what grooming

Why does Mobile Grooming cost more?
We
bring EVERYTHING directly to at your doorstep. We do indeed charge a little
more for that added convenience. Being Mobile also allows your pet “one on one
time” as we are fully dedicated to your pet for its entire stay. We we are
hands on for the entire groom and we do not ever cage your pet. People who find mobile grooming very
convenient are disabled individuals or people with unmanageable pooches or just
plain BUSY people. You can also be more observant of the grooming process
whereas a brick-and-mortar establishment will often require you to drop off
your dog and pick up later. It all depends on your needs.
Can
I be in the truck with you when you groom my dog?
In our experience, this is usually not
a good idea. You are your dog’s favorite person, so when you are present during
grooming, your dog will be focused on you and not on sitting still for or
cooperating with the service. There may be some occasions where the dog’s owner
will be called upon to help calm or hold the dog during certain parts of the
service, but generally the grooming should be a one-on-one experience between
the dog and the groomer.
How
long will the groom take?
This can vary, but generally a bath
service will take 45-90 minutes depending on the breed (think of the difference
between bathing and drying a Chihuahua and a Great Dane) and a haircut service
will take between 75-120 minutes, again depending on the type of dog. Though we
work efficiently, we do not rush for the safety of the pet and because we want
your dog to look marvelous when you see them completed.
Why do I get an answering machine when I
call you sometimes ?
Please be patient with us. I am the owner, groomer, janitor, mechanic and receptionist and try to return phone calls as fast as I can. Phone calls are returned Monday through Saturday as soon as possible or towards the end of the day. We do not pick up the phone while driving or grooming dogs because it can be unsafe for the dog and for us not to be focused on them.
